Where is the MacGuffin

The KSRTC bus from Theni to Munnar started its journey in   a post modernistic  thriller story  along the splendid ice caped mountains of Western Ghats . Snow with spraying rain covered the abyss of death  ,which made the driver euphoric enough to accelerate the bus like a bullet fired from a spaghetti western film. The travel was the last chance of hope for Sankarettan,a villager who is condemned for a local bank robbery.
No evidence collected from him about the incident ,until police accidentally found 10KG of gold with him on a rainy right    near Poothattukulam ,an old cemetry in village.seven years passed afterwards ,nothing significant happened in his life other than bad health.
For the past three days, he has been admitted to a local hospital in Theni for an acute stage of liver sclerosis. He was accompanied by  two police officers with service  revolvers .But .Sankarettan gained wisdom of everything, which says that ,there is always a chance event .The bus was deserted with handfull of people.A Lady and her six year old daughter ,a  small group of farmers, two foreign tourists,Sankarettan with cops and driver and a conducter.

Small kid carried a bag .she aimlessly cling to it with out much attention.
No other than Sankarettan imagined the Girl's bag contain MacGuffin ...

Police officers theoretically analyzed ,how could an old man   had got such a huge amount of jewelry with out any  evidence and the plot is even more complicated when they realized that the robbed jewelry from the  bank is recovered from other actual culprits with substantial evidence Police officers thought that Sankarettan has an hidden place where he locked the Macguffin. The Lady with the kid believed that Sankarettan  will device a plan with Macguffin for three of them ,she kid and Sankarettan. Her role is to tempt Sankarettan to find the Macguffin  and complicate the plot even furthur.

She only knows ,how Sankarettan got huge sum of Jewelry, the    Macguffin writer is searching about..

so the plot is Where is the MacGuffin.......?

Suddenly a striped tiger crossed the road which eventually   squid  the racing bus to 900 meter deep valley  and subsequent free fall through the snowy sandal woods. The bag ,Sankarettan regarded as MacGuffin  ,which was safe at kid's hand earlier , now sailing through the periyar river to the nearest  water fall.

What was in that bag? is the real Macguffin  Sankarettan  was expected as an amenity for the escape....???

Only one knows every thing is the Lady...No one knows any details..Even the writer....

Badly injured Sankarettan bled to death along with  a police officer. The driver's condition was even worse. The snow fall delayed the arrival of death at him.Two farmers, the Lady,The Kid , a police officer somehow managed to land on earth though badly wounded. Sankarettan might be died happily in hope of the  safety of Macguffin  in Lady's beautiful heart ,unless she revealed it to the readers.
since post modernistic stories allow the communication between characters   of the stories with  the writer and reader ,the story telling some how deviated from classical structure .At night ,in a crowded hospital in Munnar ,Lady Experienced deep sorrow caused by the death of Sankarettan. In great agony ,she decided to reveal the Macguffin  to the writer though, its bits and pieces are already scattered some where in the  story. But the writer was decide to end story with an  anecdote about MacGaffin explained by two great film directors..If it were happened ,it will be like this..

Interviewed in 1966 by François Truffaut, Alfred Hitchcock illustrated the term "MacGuffin" with this story:[6][7]
It might be a Scottish name, taken from a story about two men on a train. One man says, "What's that package up there in the baggage rack?" And the other answers, "Oh, that's a MacGuffin". The first one asks, "What's a MacGuffin?" "Well," the other man says, "it's an apparatus for trapping lions in the Scottish Highlands." The first man says, "But there are no lions in the Scottish Highlands," and the other one answers, "Well then, that's no MacGuffin!" So you see that a MacGuffin is actually nothing at all.

But the lady said no...In this case a real  MacGuffin  exists. The readers deserves it.

She explained.

Sankarettan was lived in a village called Sasthapuram. There was a temple called Ayappan Kavu. The old temple worshiped the God ayyappan..There were immense collection of   jewelry to decorate God Ayyapan on his birth day.The huge gold investment was secretly hidden under nilavara which is built on top of Agra shala. Agrashala constructed on top of Ambala kulam..There were three well inside Ambalakkulam,a secret passage to the well was constructed from sree kovil,an under ground passage.
During 19 th century when Tippu sulthan invaded Kerala,he reached at Sasthapuram. To preserve huge jewelry from Tippu   Sulthan, they pull all the jewelry inside the well .Sankarettan was a fish catcher
who spend most of his time near Nila river .When his felllow worker Raghavettan suicided at Ambalakulam ,Sankarettan himself searched the body on a burning summer  of 1960s .During that spell he dived in  to the well and accidentally found a ring which made him to spend the whole summer under water to search for the treasures .
He never robed any bank,... He never robed  any one ..God gave him.all these. she finished in tears. The bag has the wealth for three of us to live, which is lost in accident. We might have escaped. MacGuffin it self changed its nature..

So the writer asked at the Lady .Who are you....how you knew all these  ..I am the tailoring women having affair with Sankarettan  and this is our kid.And suddenly MacGuffin  vanished .As Hitchcock said ,ultimately there is no MacGuffin  .
